40 Metre Cherry Picker

Perfect for use in construction and maintenance applications to efficiently and safety access infrastructure such as sports field lighting, telecommunication infrastructure, large to enormous tree removal and maintenance and sign installation. This machine has a larger sideways reach to complement its height which allows for work to be done over fixed structures as well as other obstacles between the truck and the job.

The CELA TelJ-40 is a 40-metre telescopic truck mounted EWP featuring a 3-stage main boom and a 3-stage fly boom and a basket that extends and pivots.

Mounted on a 4 x 8 Volvo FM7 this machine is no light weight. With a kerb weight of 27500kg this machine comes with that reassuring solid feel you get from well-built Euro equipment.

The Machine

The outrigger configuration allows the machine to be to be used with several different work area settings. Allowing operations to be conducted while minimizing the disruption to the environment in and around the work area.

To enjoy the full experience of the huge work envelope, an area of approximately 6m x 10m is needed to set-up. If space is limited the outriggers can be set out one side only, saving approximately 2 meters in set up space.

The steel platform (265KG Safe Work Load) with an extendable basket, provides almost 4 meters of dance floor for a comfortable and safe platform to work from all day. The basket slew function allow for the basket to be aligned to the work needing to be performed.

With a three section Telescoping main boom and 3 section articulating fly boom, this machine is capable of threading through and around most obstacles to reach your objective. The work area envelope has an impressive lateral reach at ground leave of just over 21m making it ideally suited to access those low hanging watermelons.
