38m CELA Spyder 380

38 Metre Track Walking Spyder

The CELA Spyder 380 is a 38-meter track mounted EWP with 6 stage telescopic main boom and a 2 stage telescopic fly jib. This machine is brought in on a flat bed truck and then utilises it’s tank like tracks to walk into position.

Ideal for difficult projects that require the ability to traverse steep terrain / low ground pressure or access via narrow easements.

The Spyder’s ability to climb hills see this machine ideal for accessing telecommunications installations or electrical transmission networks or to access that troublesome tree in a remote or difficult to access area.

The Machine

Its low ground pressure allows it to be tracked across boggy/ loose ground. With a low travel speed of 10m/min it is no speed machine but is most definitely the little engine that can when it comes to getting up/over or through difficult terrain to reach your job.

With a kerb weight of 10700 kg this machine has a very sturdy and safe feel while in operation.

Set up is made easy via four diagonals down and out style out riggers with three optional leg positions. This allows the machine to achieve a level turntable position on grades of up to 30%.

With a 38-meter working height the Spyder put most tasks right at your fingertips. With a traveling width of only 2mts in a straight line, the Spyder will fit down tight access passages like between the house and the fence. This allows us to access backyards that have no other vehicle access.

This machine is equipped with a full range of safety equipment including:

Fully Qualified and Experienced Operator

Harness and Lanyards

Fire extinguishers

First aid kit

Spill control kit

Emergency Descent Device

Tool Lanyards

Limited Traffic cones for marking drop zone
